Nechama Birnbaum is the author of the beautifully written and best selling book The Redhead of Auschwitz: A True Story. Nechama is the granddaughter of Rosie Greenstein ZTL, a Holocaust survivor, who promised herself that she was going home.
Rosie, who had “the most infectious laugh that you will ever hear,” left an amazing legacy of 5 children, 28 grandchildren, 120 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren.
Nechama and her family live in Brooklyn, New York.
